Besides enhancing the memory and storage, there aren't many other options available. This outdated device isn't ideal for high-level gaming. What titles are you interested in?

Hey thanks for the reply, I've already upgraded the memory and storage device—it's helped a bit. I just want to know if I could upgrade the CPU too? A friend did it, so maybe I'm asking too much for this old laptop; I should probably buy a new one. Thanks for your understanding!

If you can afford it, invest in a gaming-specific model. This will serve you better over time since you'll have the latest compatible parts. Also, upgrading your CPU won't significantly increase performance—it might only offer a minor improvement at best.

Agreed. Any gains from changing the CPU will be minimal at best. The device remains quite outdated, possibly leading to heat or power problems. It would be wiser to invest in a more modern system for better performance.
