My hardware setup:
Processor: Asus h110m-k d3
Processor Core: i5 6600k
Graphics: AMD rx 580 8gb
Memory: 2x4gb DDR3 1660mhz
Display: Benq xl2411p 144hz
Power Supply: Seasonic GM650 650W
Frame rate: I consistently reach around 120 fps in FFAs, with a range of 90 to 150 depending on settings. On Faceit, it's slightly higher since it's a 5v5 match rather than a 10v10, but it can drop below 100 fps in certain scenarios—for instance, when I'm playing from the A site with 3 smokes, 2 mollys, and flashes pop, followed by a 5-turn rush to the A site. At that point, I start seeing around 90 fps, and the game becomes less smooth for about 5 to 6 seconds while they're rushing. That’s not ideal.
Temperatures for both CPU and GPU are normal, and ping remains consistent.
In launch options, I'm using: -novid, refresh 144, nod3d9ex1, tickrate 128, threads 4, high +fps_max 0, cl_showfps 1, cl_interp 0, cl_interp_ratio 1, cl_updaterate 128, cl_cmdrate 128, mat_queue_mode 2, and cl_forcepreload 1. This configuration usually gives me around 20-30 fps before it worsens further.
Before the RX580, I had a 1050ti, which was essentially the same; I didn’t need to upgrade to the RX580.
CSGO is prioritized, and in the control panel, the power plan is set to high performance. In Task Manager, CPU usage is between 64% and 72%, while GPU stays around 50%-51%.

Well if it was me, I would wait and save up some money to build a new PC. DDR3 is outdated and I personally don’t like upgrading to DDR3 motherboards, since they will just become even more obsolete. So if you’re looking to buy in a specific order first, I’d start with a DDR4 motherboard. It won’t provide a huge performance jump, but it will definitely work. Once you have the motherboard, you’ll need some DDR4 RAM, then maybe a GPU, and finally decide what else to add. Or you could buy everything at once after saving up a bit of time.

csgo tends to be CPU intensive and benefits from higher CPU speeds. I’d suggest swapping the CPU, but upgrading the GPU would also boost FPS, as the 6600k isn’t a weak processor. Additionally, the RX 580 offers only about 15-20% improvement over the 1050ti.

If you're looking for options to increase frame rates without a hardware upgrade, it's unlikely to be possible given your current configuration. These limitations are typical for your specifications. What graphics settings are you using?

It states there is a 50% enhancement compared to userbenchmark.

The question about which component to get first remains unanswered as it depends on specific details. Could you provide more context or clarify your query?

Edit: DDR3 RAM won’t fit on DDR4 boards, so get them together... I assume everyone is aware of that but just to be sure.

I also downloaded Windows a week ago, and my FPS dropped significantly. I'm currently seeing around 120 average FPS in aim_botz... a map with just me and bots. Can you help explain what's happening?
