I relocated into a new home, but my room is on the opposite side of the staircase from the WiFi source, resulting in weak or no signal. I considered adding a range extender, though I don’t see any available outlets between the router and my room. I’m trying to stay within a £30 budget. What options do I have?

You might manage to direct a 100-foot Ethernet connection inside your home or even beneath the floors and walls—but it would definitely be a complicated task. You'd need strong skills in building interiors to get it done smoothly.

However, I had a very positive experience with that product.

Considering these but missed the name! I’ll place an order now. Great job on the type!

there are some limitations to consider. no sudden spikes, avoid using extension cords. uncertain about afci or gfci compatibility.

Powerline adapters work well, but if coax cables are present in each room—most homes in the U.S. have this—I suggest these MoCA adapters: https://www.amazon.com/Actiontec-Bonded-...B013J7O3X0. They offer speeds closer to Ethernet and better than traditional powerline. For optimal results, use at least one adapter. You can also install a WiFi access point or extender in the desired area.

They likely use a Moca adapter that supports WiFi and includes additional Ethernet connections. Based on my observations.
