I worked on a previous discussion where I wasn’t sure of my goals. In this case, I’m trying to establish an SSTP connection to a server in Germany. I’ve tried various methods, but I keep getting the error: “Can't connect to VPN – certificate chain processed, but terminated at a root certificate not trusted.” I already created several certificates myself, so I’m wondering what might be wrong and if there are logs that can help clarify the issue. Thanks in advance.

Obtain a verified certificate compatible from both ends. Preferably match the domain of the German server (e.g., remoteserver.de) and connect directly to that exact name. Avoid self-signed certificates for SSTP. If needed, switch to OpenVPN or L2TP instead.

I should check a trusted source for a single working guide. You mentioned Duckdns.org is already in use for this.

It isn't your local server, right? Just need a valid SSL certificate from a trusted authority. When you link to the domain, the certificate gets issued there, so verification problems shouldn't happen.

It's completely my own! I can access everything yet still receive the message. Even after following all the instructions, I'm trying again now—maybe I missed something yesterday. It's really frustrating because I followed every guide carefully.

It’s functioning temporarily! The main issue is that I can’t access the internet through it, which makes this a fresh problem to solve.
