Hello! Very recently I got a text saying someone tried to log into my Google Account from another phone. For safety, I logged out of all my computers and phones. Big mistake. Back when I made my email, I set that same email as the recovery password. While I activated two-factor login, I changed my phone number but didn't update it in my account. Second big mistake. I tried to get help with a recovery option, but it's sending me in a confusing loop. When I try to log in, it sends me a code first. Then I ask for another way, and it keeps telling me: To keep your account safe, Google needs to prove you own this one. Here is how to recover your account: Answer all the questions as much as you can Use a computer or phone where you have already signed in Choose a known Wi-Fi network, like at home or work So I try to sign in... and we get back to exactly what started it - it asks for that code again and over. There are no questions to answer anywhere else. Is there any way I can get this account fixed? I haven't found any posts online with this exact problem, so I don't know how to fix anything.
