In the early days of Battlefield 1942, my system struggled to handle it. I had to lower all the options. A friend had a more powerful machine. When I tried to stay hidden among the grass, he couldn't spot me. If I hid there, he wouldn't see me at all. The grass wasn't detailed enough.

It really helps to have the correct mouse. My results improved significantly after purchasing a Logitech g502.

The g502 and g900 from logitech both use the best sensor on the market. There's really no point looking at anything else.
