Hi guys, hope I got all the info I need about my question because I am a new person here. I have a Ryzen 7 3700x, a brand new RTX 3060 TI from Zotac, 16gb of RAM, an Auros 450B Pro Wifi card, and I just play Warzone for now. Before this, I had a 1650 super about a week ago and got around 80-90fps in Caldera (the big map). According to benchmarks I found on YouTube at low settings, I should have gotten around 150fps. But to my surprise, I only get 110fps in low settings. It doesn't matter what settings I change within Warzone to high or low, I can't even get over 120 fps. DLSS changes nothing either as far as FPS goes.

I tried different NVIDIA panel settings and still no luck, it's not the worst setting nor is it the best one, I am just trying to get 144fps. Yesterday, I got about 10 extra FPS when reaching to 120 fps by updating some drivers from the Motherboard, so that was cool. Now I look on forums and it says to update BIOS. I downloaded Gygabyte software saying I have a B450 AORUS PRO WIFI F62c version which I think is the latest, isn't it? Anyway, when I try to find updates it says error, go to the gygabyte website. And reading about the boot up process I am afraid I don't know enough to mess with that and mess my PC. I was wondering if updating BIOS would be the right path or not? If anyone can point some direction where I could play with it, I know benchmarks on YouTube are sometimes with monster CPUs but I think I should have better performance even with all the optimization problems from Warzone. My other point of reference is that a friend with a 3060 who is not a 3060 Ti like mine has 144 stable on a Ryzen 5, so we are mirror settings and still no success for me.

Additional info: When in game the temp for my GPU is at 74 Celsius and in menus it is 65 Celsius which to my understanding is okay and the usage is around 95%. I overclocked just once like 20 minutes with a guide going up 800 on memory clock and +80 on core clock but saw no difference maybe like 5fps more, maybe, and regardless of overclocking the regular 1965/2000mhz i get while playing I think should give me more fps.

Would appreciate any help or guide in my approach or if you have experience with this game/gpu/cpu whatever. Thanks

I just downloaded the English motherboard manual. On page 25, you can find where XMP is listed as Extreme Memory Profile (X.M.P.). You only need to pick a 3200mhz option and then save and exit the BIOS. I should try PBO first because it looks like it might be on page 25 too, though this specific manual calls it Core Performance Boost B450 AORUS PRO WIFI (rev. 1.x) Support | Motherboard - GIGABYTE Global

Do you try running UserBenchmark and get me the results online? Also, did you test PowerBoost on your CPU?

I am looking at a link on userbenchmark.com to see if anyone has tested PBO with my CPU before.

Hey, your memory is already fast with 2133mhz speed. You can go into your BIOS settings and turn on XMP so you get 3200mhz instead. Turning on PBO will also make things run better for games. It should work!

Thanks! It could be a lot for me to do, but I couldn't find any simple steps on how to do that in Google. Could you send me a link with the clear instructions?

I downloaded the English motherboard manual. On page 25, it tells you where XMP is set to Extreme Memory Profile, and you just need to pick a 3200mhz setting, click save, then exit the BIOS. I should do this first before testing PBO, but only if everything works well. For PBO, there also seems to be a boost option on page 25, which says Core Performance Boost B450 AORUS PRO WIFI (rev. 1.x) Support | Motherboard - GIGABYTE Global

I really appreciate it, thanks. Right now I did the XMP process and boy, it worked super well! Now I get consistent 120 to 130 FPS, which was great because before it was only around 95 to 100. Thanks so much! I also managed to enter the BIOS. After that, I'll start PBO in a little while longer. Thank you again for all your help; I've been searching for this info everywhere lately!

I'm glad I can help. Playing a few games might be worth the effort to make sure everything runs smoothly. Then you could try PBO, which will only give a small boost. That should help just a bit.
