Hello everyone, About a year ago I changed my older Windows 8 laptop to Windows 10 for free. It hasn’t been used much, and now I’m planning a fresh install. Are there any changes in the setup process? Should I just use the bootable USB and start from scratch, or are there additional steps like activation? Also, what does the factory reset in settings do, and how is it similar to a complete reinstall? Thanks!

Download the ISO file from the provided link. Install it onto a blank USB drive and restart the computer using the new drive. Proceed with the installation instructions that appear on the screen.

For a product key, tap the small button labeled "I don't have a product key." Signing in with your Microsoft account or connecting to the internet will trigger the system to check your motherboard and enable it.

You can restart using the settings menu, but pay attention to the options. Choosing "Remove Everything" will perform a fresh Windows 10 installation, whereas "Factory Reset" could sometimes bring your PC back to an older version like Windows 8. So, be sure to select the appropriate reset when you restart.
