It's best to remove the HDD and start a Linux OS from the CD, then format the drive.

if it is infected as in boot loader nothing you can do if it has a infected file format it

Destroy it completely. Execute it on a device. Dispatch it into the cosmos. Submerge it in acid. Run it through another operating system to prevent activation.
