Hello
I'm uncertain if I'm using the right term.
I'm not seeking about linking several computers or nodes in a network.
How might one design a system where various CPUs collaborate on a single task?
I've heard of OpenMPI for parallel computing, but I'm thinking about employing multiple CPUs on a single motherboard. Is this possible?
🙄
🤔
In practice, how can several CPUs be grouped together? Should only different computers or systems be connected through a software-based approach?
Thank you

What is the "task"?
Examine Beowulf Cluster.

Or, use multiple CPUs with tools like SQLServer.

How intricate is this that a single CPU cannot manage? Once more, refer to the Beowulf clusters Wikipedia page.
