Based on the key provided, it seems to be a standard digital license identifier. If unsure, you can test it. It shouldn't cause any issues if it's incorrect.

It seems the device likely comes from an OEM, with little chance to change unless you obtain your unique key and try using it elsewhere. As @Kid.Lazer notes, transferring OEM keys isn't possible. Tech tests by City proved this—random keys bought from digital sellers worked just fine.

Start it on your device and observe if anything unusual shows up besides "invalid." Since you haven't gone through the activation steps, I'm not sure what typically happens.
