I recently assembled my pc using gskill trident z rgb 3200mhz 16gb ram. But in task manager it shows 1600mhz, and I activated xmp profile 1. How can I achieve better speeds? My motherboard is x570 gaming edge msi, the cpu is ryzen 3600. Note: I haven’t updated the bios.

DDR means double data rate. Therefore, when the statement mentions your RAM operating at 1600MHz, it actually refers to a speed of 3200MHz.

Use a tool such as cpuz. It will report 1600mhz of RAM at 3200.
