I received my neighbor's extra computer and wanted to turn on VT-X that he didn't allow me to do. I reached out to HP, searched extensively, but nothing resolved the issue. My desktop model is the HP ENVY 700-027c. Thanks!

try different options, that's how I work.
swap, add, change from a to f, explore all possibilities.
alternative methods, test everything.

I'll give it another shot. I've already tried many, but I'll keep trying.

I own an ASUS Impact with F2 keys; it might seem expensive, but manufacturers often change key layouts. Just decide what you're comfortable with.

Is it a laptop? If not, the motherboard could have a direct key, or at least points to one. You can short the leads while the machine is powered down and it will boot straight into the BIOS.
