Verify the maximum speeds your motherboard and CPU can handle. Many high-speed RAMs require overclocking from their base clock to reach the listed speeds. Most current RAM supports XMP profiles; simply adjust your BIOS settings to match the desired speed. You may surpass the advertised rates, but achieving stable overclocks is challenging due to potential system issues and varying motherboard compatibility.
