How can I increase the overclock of my AMD FX-6300?
My motherboard is an ASROCK 970m PRO3, and I have a Cooler Master Seidon 120V Rev. 2 cooler.
Do you have any recommendations or guides? I'm new to this but would like to safely boost my CPU for better performance. Thanks for the advice!

I wouldn't really boost the speed on that board, it has weak power and thermal management.

I wouldn't go overclocking that board, it has weak power and thermal design.
I really need better performance for Skyrim and Borderlands.

You might consider a gentle overclock, but be cautious—it could cause the board to overheat.

I increased the clock speed to 4.1 and have been running it in Prime 95 for 15 minutes.
The CPU temperature is currently around 50 degrees Celsius.
UPDATE: I followed this video as a reference... you're not stupid, right?
