Hi, I'm struggling to grasp the process of overclocking single and multiple cores with this CPU and motherboard setup. Could you help me understand how to raise the max boost from 4.2 to higher values like 4.4, 4.6, 4.8 or even 5.0? I want to adjust all-core settings manually. Thanks.

I attempted to tweak the multiplier in the AI/overclocker menu and managed to get a base clock speed of 4.0 GHz, which is acceptable but not ideal. I searched online and tried these configurations on PBO in the BIOS under CPU overclocking, but I'm unsure if they were properly activated or effective. I switched PBO to enabled in the AI/Tweak settings.

The PBO settings were:
- Advanced mode
- Motherboard limits
- Scaler auto
- +200 MHz override
- Negative 10 all-core curve optimizer

Geekbench 6 scores:
Single-Core: 7368
Multi-Core: 1640

Later tests with PBO disabled gave:
Single-Core: 7501
Multi-Core: 1658

I also noticed the temperatures during benchmarking stayed at 3600 MHz, and Geekbench reported a base frequency of 4.46 GHz.

Just let me know what kind of RAM you're using, including the BIOS version for your motherboard. Also, tell me about the voltages you're dealing with and whether you've tried using Ryzen Master's Curve Optimizer for overclocking.

The CPU is severely damaged or failing, making it impossible to use. Downgrading to 5600x was the only option. A 4.2GHz boost on a single core is just theoretical; running all cores at that speed would require excessive voltage and power, causing overheating. 5GHz is not feasible right now. Do you have any liquid nitrogen available?
