In most dual-bios setups, the second BIOS file cannot be updated, which prevents corruption from updates. It serves as a backup to correct issues with the main BIOS.

If my main profile got damaged or failed, I’d need to move to bios 2 and begin fresh, using the Celeron, then upgrade to a newer version, instead of trying to jump back to my 9600k.
