I recently purchased a 32GB flash drive to move my Photo Library from my Mac to my PC. When attempting to transfer the entire library (17.34GB), it takes hours and remains stuck at 5.36 MB. An alternative is to drag and drop all photos and videos, which reduces the file size—such as a 2.3 MB photo dropping to around 900 KB. Is there a way to transfer everything in their full size?

No, it isn't possible to perform this task over a network.

Are you using a USB 3 flash drive? Does your Mac have USB 3 ports available? With USB 3, moving 17GB of information will only require a short time.

Your port supports 3.0, yet the USB connection only works at 2.0.

You've been working hard for the last moments, but it suddenly stopped, though your USB keeps showing activity. It might be sending a large file. Appreciate the info!

Using a USB 3 drive connected to the appropriate port will likely boost performance.
