How to detach CPU PSU cables from the motherboard
You're facing an issue with the CPU power cable placement. Since it's stuck in the heatsink and blocking access, you should carefully remove the CPU power cable from its socket. If possible, use a small tool or tweezers to gently dislodge it without damaging the components. Once free, secure the cable properly and ensure it's correctly connected to the PSU and CPU power pins.
I once had to align the motherboard so I could see its top surface. I used a specific tool to extract a power cable from the board, but this isn't something I'd suggest unless you're extremely cautious. It's unclear what others expect when they don't even recognize the type of motherboard you're working with.
Choose one method: place a rubber band around the lock, pull it tight to activate it. Hold the connector with your finger or nail, then move it outward. Alternate hand or use a long-nosed plier for the second option. Add another CPU power cable to the header in the third method.
It doesn't actually matter if you put the connector in 1st or 2nd connector ... the 12v wires are connected together, there's no difference. the plug should have a small clip... like a lever that goes over the lip of the header on the motherboard and locks the plug in place. Press down gently and squeeze so that the clip and then pull out the plug. How the header is on the board ... notice that lip .. and on the right you see the lever :
You don’t need to match every pin count exactly; just ensure the pin configuration is compatible with your CPU.
