Windows 10 is too demanding for my old and slow laptop. I looked at a third-party Windows 10 ISO called "Windows 10 Lite," but it lacked support, felt empty, and didn’t provide genuine Microsoft updates. Can I still trim Windows 10 down to a lighter version while keeping updates?

It should work well on the 4th generation i5 with a current operating system. The slowest part is likely the spinning hard drive and the limited memory.
