I connected the 12v rgb strip straight into my motherboard, but I’m confused about adjusting its colors. It only works in a breathing mode with unpredictable hues, and I don’t know how to set a specific color or create cool patterns. If anyone has suggestions, I’d really appreciate it. I have an ASUS 610M-K motherboard. (IMG_1320.MOV)

Choose between Asus Aura Sync or other options such as SignalRGB or OpenRGB for software control.

The connection status might be unclear due to a missing device. Check your setup or restart your system to see if it updates.

When linking an addressable LED strip to your motherboard, begin by using the provided addressable extension cable. Attach this cable to the LED strip and then connect its other end to the addressable RGB header (ADD_HEADER) on your motherboard. Remember, the longest possible length for an addressable strip is 2 meters, or 12 volts.

All appears normal, yet I struggle to manage the hues.

You may need to adjust your strip. A video shows the process, beginning at 4:42. It mentions whether the device is addressable and the connector type—3 pin or 4 pin.

I don't understand why Armoury Crate doesn't display your motherboard. It could be they designed your board to not work with Aura Sync, or their software is still problematic. Alternatively, both updates and third-party RGB tools might help. https://rog.asus.com/articles/guides/how...aura-sync/ If you need it, it appears a special uninstaller is required.

If addressable and paired with the 3-pin header, it will appear in sync. When using the 4-pin connector for an RGB strip, control is handled within the RGB section. After calibration, it should align with the standard Aura Sync LED profile, though it may not display as a separate device.

It's a 4-pin 12V, but I don't have the part you mentioned from the video. When I see the RGB stick calibration section on the left, it's missing from my view.

Update the bios to version 2803 as the issue is that the aura sync isn't detecting the motherboard, preventing configuration.
