How to connect ARGB case fans to a motherboard?
Hello everyone,
I'm using an 'MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX' and attempting to install ARGB 'Aerocool DUO12 case fans'. The motherboard has two RGB slots labeled 'JRGB1' and 'JRGB2', both with 4-pin male connectors. The fans provide a 6-pin female output, but an adapter cable in the box allows changing this configuration. With the adapter, the fans now show outputs like 'IN VDG', 'XWD', and 'PWM Connector'. Only the XWD connection fits the 3-pin female slot, though it covers one pin.
Someone could help me figure out the best way to connect these fans to my motherboard, would be really appreciated. Thanks!
(Additional notes: I've already connected RGB strips before, each with a simple 4-pin female plug. Now I'm trying ARGB but can't tell exactly where it should go.)

Sure, just to clarify, do you need guidance on where to connect the SATA power, and should it be included in your motherboard setup or is it an optional addition?
I simply connected the splitter and the fans all turned on. Thank you very much for your assistance.
