Hi All,
I use Whatsapp on both Android and desktop. While I managed to hide a user's status notifications on Android, I can't do it on the desktop version. Do you have any advice or help to hide or block these notifications on the desktop? Thanks in advance.

Additional details are required.
Specifically about Desktop.
Is this related to Chat Lock? If yes, what is the cause?

Hello and thank you for your response.
One of my contacts frequently posts updates. According to WhatsApp Help, for the Android version it is:
Mute a contact’s status update
- Open WhatsApp
Status
.
- Tap and hold your contact's status update
- Tap Mute
This works perfectly on Android. My question remains: how can I mute the status updates of this person in the desktop version?
Thank you in advance.

I mainly rely on GbWhatsapp. It offers more features than the standard version. It's essentially a new version of WhatsApp, available only on mobile devices, while the desktop version has an assist mode option in the bottom right corner.
