I previously had two green audio jacks on my desktop PC, each connected to headphones and speakers. I could alternate between them without disconnecting by using an app called Audio Switcher (audioswit.ch), directing the output through just one of them. Now one green jack is broken, leaving only a green and two pink (mic) jacks. I can connect my headphones to the mic input, but audio output works fine. However, switching between the devices is no longer possible. There seems to be no way to toggle between them while both are plugged in using just an app or Windows settings. Perhaps changing the audio mic to output mode in the BIOS could help?

open Windows Control Panel > Sound.
you can switch and configure most devices and outputs there.
if the option you need isn't available, then it's best to use a reliable Bluetooth headset.
