adjusted settings to 3.9Ghz at 1.375V and everything holds up. maximum readings stayed around 65°C. the monitor claims a 20°C difference in display but I think it’s resolved since otherwise idle temps would be unrealistic. performance stayed solid from 2677 to 2796 on Cinebench R20. if everything works fine, I might try 4.0 for better stability.
Great setup! Your R5 2600 at 4.225Ghz with a 1.35vcore is solid. The idle temps you mention are typical, and the Cinebench R20 score of 2946 is solid for that configuration. Keep an eye on the temperature readings—it’s a good sign you’re managing heat well.
I aim for a more balanced pace, prioritizing consistency over maximum speed. Likely I'll stay under 4.0 fps.
Adjusted settings to 2844 @ 3.9Ghz 1.375V, R15 confirmed around 1296. Increased to 4.0Ghz @1.385V caused crashes, so settled on 3.9Ghz. Aiming for stable performance at 1.4V is possible but I prefer the current range. Under load temps stayed around 69°C, and idle temps near 30°C – that’s the sweet spot I’m comfortable with.
These temperatures look pretty good. I had a solid shot with my R5 2600, and I managed to get better performance with my Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB RAM. It uses Samsung B-DIMM chips, which let me push it to 3464mhz with 18-20-20-38 timings.
