How to Backup Game Saves

I recently switched my boot drive to an SSD and intend to keep my 1TB HDD for storage. Before formatting, I need to confirm everything is backed up. Backing up Steam game saves was simple, but I still have to back up my Origin and Uplay saves. There doesn’t appear to be a backup system in the clients (unlike Steam), so how can I do it manually?

Copy all files in your documents folder—those are where most game saves are stored, and they aren’t automatically synced via Steam.

Your saves are stored in the cloud and automatically synced missing files, but it's a good idea to back them up. Also, verify your AppData folder for any saved data. I see Saints Row 2 and GTA4 saves there—GTA: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games
