I just completed assembling my new custom PC and tried playing Doom Eternal. The game runs smoothly between 90-120 fps, but occasionally it drops below 20 fps. I want to avoid this and stabilize the frame rate if possible. My setup includes an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, NVIDIA 3070ti FE, 32 GB RAM, MSI B550 A-Pro, and EVGA 1K Gold. The drivers are already updated.

GPU and CPU temperatures are around 60°C. CPU utilization remains below 18%. GPU activity is at full capacity. RAM consumption is 8023MB, with Doom Eternal occupying roughly 4000MB.

What resolution is being used? 100% GPU doesn't seem correct.
Which frequency is it currently running?
What connection are you employing to link with the monitor?

Here
is a screenshot of MSI afterburner monitor of my most recent session. Right up until the red circle I was experiencing about 120 fps, the red circle is where it dropped to 20 fps mid match.

Test using an older GPU driver?
Run a malware scan on the system?
Does adjusting the detail level in-game improve performance?

Returning to an earlier driver initially helped, though it eventually led back to the same issue. Adjusting the detail to low then switching back to ultra appears to consistently maintain around 60 fps most of the time, which is currently the best solution.

No malicious software detected during the scan. The SSD has more than half of its space occupied.
