You managed to reach the advanced BIOS settings by pressing random keys, but you can't return afterward. Once there, you can enable overclocking and other options. Restarting brings back a basic menu. Various key combinations like Fn+Tab or F2 + A didn’t work. Someone might know how to regain access.

You need to install a modified BIOS, I also found myself doing this by accident on all my laptops, but I never managed it without using an EEPROM programmer. In short, almost every adjustment you make will damage your laptop, and you’ll have to re-flash the BIOS with another programmer—definitely not a good deal.

Have you attempted pressing random keys once more? Perhaps fully pressing the keyboard and checking for the special sequence. You might also test Ctrl + F1 or Fn + Ctrl + F1, as I recall those methods unlocking additional options on my previous machine.

Consider using a UEFI configuration if you have one.

I've tried it before, but it lacks advanced capabilities.

I've observed individuals achieving this unintentionally by chance, sometimes on certain laptops and even in a dark eVGA Z390 setup where they tried various combinations without success. The timing or specific keys—like control/alt/F2, control alt F1, or control Insert +—might be worth checking. If someone remembered the exact sequence, it could be shared online. For the latest MSIbooks, the combination is left alt, right control, right shift, F2 (possibly F1 on earlier Skylake/6700HQ models). Have you explored the win-raid BIOS mod forums for any clues?

I also face the same problem on a Nitro 7 a715 51. After adjusting a minor setting (pl3) and trying to access the advanced options, it still won’t appear. I even upgraded the BIOS from 1.05 to 1.09 and reset several times, but nothing changes. To start, I pressed F4, then F5, then F6, Y, H, N trick.
