You have Windows 11 installed and want to revert to Windows 10. You can perform a clean installation by backing up your data, then using the Windows installation media to restore from a previous version. Make sure you have all necessary files ready before starting the process.
This release was authorized by someone who found it extremely poor. It's significantly worse than the problematic vanilla version of Windows 8 and even surpasses the issues seen in early versions of Vista.
You encounter issues because Windows 11 inherits features from Windows 10, sharing the same codebase. Manufacturers often replace the built-in OS with their own versions, leading to poor user experiences. This is why Microsoft introduced the "Signature Edition" for OEMs and later shifted focus to the Surface line.
Windows 8.1 worked well on touchscreen devices though it had a slight learning curve, but overall it was decent. Windows 10 has been quite stable compared to what you might expect. I think they pushed out version 11 before it was fully ready just so the new scheduler could be included with the Alder Lake launch.
I find the word choices oddly unpredictable. It feels like the system randomly picks words instead of following a clear pattern. Sometimes it seems to target the middle of a URL or switch to a random site when you start typing. The ReadyFor app (Motorola's DeX version) functions well on 10 but not on 11. Bluetooth connections are inconsistent—either it works perfectly or it gives unclear feedback about connection status.
It's accurate. Windows 11 was just a year in development before launch. The upcoming version is significantly improved. We should have it by September or October. Microsoft is finalizing a build through the Insider Program. The start menu is more complete, the taskbar looks better, Mica effect is now on the title bar for WIn32 apps, Task Manager has been updated, built-in apps have been reworked and enhanced, plus several new features.
The same codebase likely supports apps on both W10 and W11. The URL behavior might change occasionally on W10, but consistently around 6/7 times daily on W11. Running on a basic Windows Phone 8.1 device was impressive—it offered a smooth UI experience even with limited hardware capabilities, which wasn’t something I had to decide when choosing the phone for the family.
