I just finished my first two games and ended up with a 9-24 record, which is a lot of losses. Someone, please clarify what’s happening—I got a new weapon after each death. How do I keep using the same one? If not, can I avoid needing that heavy machine gun? I really want to learn how to play without it and any other tips would be super helpful for beginners. Thanks!

I believe disables random weapons and uses B/E (probably a typo) to purchase. Mastering recoil control means aiming for the head whenever possible.

F3 disables random weapons, select B for purchase, and enjoy a casual experience that leans more toward competition—ideal when you hit level 3. Practice spray control with the AK and M4A4 if you're using them.

Start each round by purchasing weapons. The random picks likely came from someone handing you a gun. EDIT: Not sure if you meant competitive.

Activate F3 at spawn time, then use B to purchase an AWPer Hand AWP. Previously played TF2 about two seconds ago.

It seems you're in a game mode. Just remember to use F3 to turn off the auto weapons and press B when you're done to pick your choice. No need to worry about CSGO—this is just a different game!

Absolutely, every firearm delivers a single fatal blow to the head.
