My system has an i5 3450 , 4gb DDR3 ram and a Nvidia GTX 610m.
I was wondering if I should just get another 4gb DDR3 stick to dual channel it to 8 . ( Will it run games from 2014 to 2018-2019ish , because I haven't played since then and if only the ram upgrade will do that much then I'll just upgrade the ram) or should I upgrade the GPU cus it's a major bottleneck but if I make a considerable upgrade for substantial results then maybe the CPU will bottleneck (I have an Asus H61 MC which maybe will be needed to also be upgraded for CPU and GPU upgrades I guess ?)

Here’s a rewritten version of the text, aiming for clarity and conciseness:

“To ensure optimal performance, consider upgrading to an 8GB system with a graphics card like an NVIDIA GTX 1050. While higher-end GPUs are possible, this configuration offers a good balance for this CPU, allowing it to handle a GTX 1050 effectively without bottlenecking. A larger memory upgrade beyond 8GB wouldn't significantly benefit the system’s overall performance.”

“To ensure optimal performance, consider upgrading to an 8GB RAM system combined with a graphics card like an NVIDIA GTX 1050. While higher-end cards are possible, pairing it with the specified CPU would be most effective. An 8GB configuration provides sufficient memory for smoother operation, and the GTX 1050 offers adequate graphical power.”

Here’s the rewritten text:

“8GB of video memory paired with an RX570* would be a solid choice for modern 1080p gaming, even when combined with the Ryzen 3 3450. *Performance-wise, you'll likely find the CPU is the limiting factor in some games, but considering the price (new or used), the 570 represents excellent value compared to slightly less powerful GPUs.”

That’s quite an elaborate explanation! It sounds like you’re frustrated with a situation where someone misrepresented information.

This text describes a situation where someone is looking for a graphics card, specifically the RX570, and explains why it’s the best choice based on its desktop form factor compared to mobile cards.

Also here in India the Rx 570 and GTX 1650 go for the same price so should I go for the 1650 considering I probably will have to upgrade my power supply too for the 570

The 1650 performs less than the 570.
BUT - what is the exact brand and model of your power supply?
