it depends, you can use HDD to SSD migration software but only if your hdd has less data than the ssd size. in your situation, if your entire hdd is under 200gb, you should install Windows on the ssd for better performance. if it exceeds 200gb, a fresh installation on the ssd is necessary. sorry for my poor English.
