Hello, your concerns about safety are valid. Using USB drives for data transfer can pose risks if the drive isn't trusted. Running scans directly on the USB and then on the PC with Symantec and McAfee may help, but always ensure you're using reputable software and keeping your system updated. It's wise to double-check the guides you read and consider backing up important files before proceeding. Images and songs are generally safe, but installing old games should be done cautiously. Thanks for reaching out!

Did your old computer have a virus? I think you might be being a bit paranoid.

Hey everyone, relax! My latest setup is compared to my old Windows XP setup, which worked great until the hardware got outdated. Thanks a ton—I think being careful with my new gear is essential right now.

The rise in friction might lead to both of them breaking down, but it should still work out.

I realized someone intended to take it too seriously, wondering how anyone could possibly use two!? Most folks here would be fortunate enough to use just one!

To enter badly enough, you'll be accepted. Unless you're employed by the CIA, you remain protected.

Hackers aren't necessarily viruses. Attacks come from everyone, making them all potential targets. Hackers specifically aim at the CIA, which is a major distinction.

That’s my usual thought. Why bother with my nice files when there are zombie PCs to target instead? Yep, but no need to raid banks—just me and my plans.
