Memtest checks system memory, not VRAM. Why might this seem confusing?

I’m experiencing random FPS fluctuations, especially after rebooting. It usually stabilizes at around 200 fps, but sometimes drops to 80-100. My rig’s CPU and GPU seem fine, and I ran memory tests without issues. The new SSD and power supply are working in my friend’s machine, though it only lasted a short time with the reboot cycle. I haven’t checked the SSD or changed RAM, even though those passed tests.

The remaining components include a specific CPU model, a motherboard, RAM modules, a graphics card, and a power supply unit.

Check if the BIOS is current. Updated BIOS might resolve the problem.

I'm executing the newest BIOS updates. I also attempted to reset the CMOS but no changes were made.

The temps for the CPU and GPU are within acceptable ranges. I just replaced three parts recently. The PSU is 850W, the HX 850 model, Samsung 980 Pro M.II RTX 3080 Ti. I received an RMA last month and got a different card.

They inquired if it was better to run the system or the video.

Was das bereits passiert? Warum hast du die erste GPU zurückgegeben?
