Hey, I got a GTX 960m in my laptop. Is anybody here willing to tell me what the best and safest core and memory clock should be when I overclock it? Thanks so much!

What is your laptop's real model name? Like the specific CPU underneath? Let me be clear to you: are laptops good at gaming? A console is way better than a laptop for that. It hurts my feelings to say this, but it's true. A standard desktop computer is much stronger in games than either a laptop or a console. No matter how powerful your laptop feels on the outside, inside there is always not enough room for cooling fans. That means every single one of them has about the same amount of cooling power, no matter if they are called "gaming laptops" by the ads or packed with lots of expensive parts to fit in a small box.

Nothing. If you really want to see it fail fast. Laptops have cooling systems built just right to handle only the CPU and GPU that the company made them for. They are designed exactly like that, nothing extra on top of that. And sometimes they barely even get a chance to work at all when people try to make them do more. Pushing anything above its limit is basically sure to cause hardware problems very quickly. This is something most people ignore as a warning sign. Then two months later they are back here again, complaining about how their system slows itself down too much under normal use, or just won't work at all anymore. So...

Hey, so I don't know if you can help me with this. When I play games, I'm not getting even 90% of my graphics card working. Sometimes the frames start dropping. I looked at my bottleneck percentage and it's showing that my CPU is actually faster than my GPU. Since I can't overclock anything, what should I do to get full use from my graphics card?
