I won’t reveal anything I’ve already experienced—especially the final sections and conclusion. The main plot runs well over 20 hours with two distinct endings. As soon as I get the freedom after the intro, I’ll just head around, explore, battle enemies, tackle side missions, and spend countless hours in this post-apocalyptic setting.

And a thought for anyone familiar: would you miss any special items, weapons, new locations, unlockables, or other rewards? Or can you collect everything without finishing the story? (I’m not talking about the narrative itself, but about getting those extra perks.) If you can, using console cheats might help, but it could ruin the overall experience.

I engage in Fallout games for the purpose of eliminating NPCs, avoiding any contemplation about my humanity or a soul-searching journey guided by storytelling.

I'm unsure about specific details you're missing, but I can help you explore what might be important to retain if you decide to play. Let me know if you'd like guidance on key items, loot, or features!

It’s best not to skip any part of the main plot. Most enjoyable moments are often found in the wasteland or during side activities where things get interesting. This game also focuses on letting you personalize your experience.

I meant not rushing through the main plot, but if you don’t want to concentrate on it fully and prefer side missions or exploration, you can still succeed.

Absolutely. Earlier matches required completing a short story mission sequence to obtain power armor, which isn’t an issue now. I seldom engage in the primary storyline.

It looks like you noticed how quickly you could obtain the Power Armor early on. That means you could easily explore the wasteland right away.

A few sloppy characters ruined the tale for me, even though they knew it was my favorite series. Now I don’t care much about it at all—just a mediocre comparison to most Bethesda titles.

I managed to catch up on the ending despite not having played Fallout before. I also watched the stream, even though it felt a bit underwhelming. The story was average with some mediocre writing, but as @App4that mentioned, the real enjoyment comes from side quests and exploration. Even though we were spoiled, most of the excitement remains for us to uncover.
