Purchased it, really liked the Beta version (they performed flawlessly). The quick, intense gameplay is exactly what I enjoy. The time to kill is only a concern if you expect it. I’m not getting frustrated with a slightly higher TTK. No problems so far—whether from earlier betas or the final release. Having a great experience!
I've got it too, along with a few friends who say they're really loving it.
As a sniper I really dislike getting caught off guard by tanks, vehicles, jets and helicopters. Right now I’m prepping for Hardline (£35 from G2A). The beta version worked fine for me, but I need something new to play before GTA 5 releases (when will that happen?). It’s just a skin, but I enjoyed playing it—so here’s my take on you!
I'll wait until it's released or priced below $5 for all the DLC and similar items, otherwise I won't proceed.
The same applies here. Using the Desert Combat mod made it even more enjoyable. I had intended to include it, but then negative feedback began showing up, leading me to skip it.
I purchased it myself and also have a BF4. While I appreciate BF4, I generally dislike vehicles and gadgets. I found the streamlined Hardline and infantry-focused modes appealing in certain settings. Domination was enjoyable for me, though I noticed few servers still hosting it lately and I tend to avoid hardcore play. Overall, I’m enjoying the game, even if it might not be the most affordable option.
I enjoyed the beta, but I didn’t purchase it mainly because there aren’t many PC players. The MP will likely disappear soon. Also, I don’t believe it’s worth $60.
What matters most is owning BF3/4 while still having BF3. If you're looking for an upgrade, BF4 would be the better choice. The reality is I'm still quite happy with BF3, aside from the absence of servers. I tried the hardline mode and it didn't meet my expectations—it stopped before any meaningful action. Its gameplay blends elements of COD and Payday. I'd definitely prefer BF4 over BF4. To me, hardline reflects a shift toward the battlefield genre. Thanks EA.
