Hey, can someone tell me how much space I need for Windows 11? When I make a 120 GB hard drive and install Win 11 Pro, my drive only has about 85 left. It's going down faster anyway. I use this PC to play games, so just like that, will it still work well enough?

It's about 200 gigabytes just for the operating system. If you put your game files there, you need more room or you'll keep running out of storage. It's easier if the games go on a separate drive.

Thanks so much! Will you check if I have enough room? Do I need at least 30 gigabytes to run this game? What happens to the game if my hard drive gets full or shows up as "full"?

I'm not really getting it. Why would you say "OC"? It sounds like shortening words for a fast setting or something technical that has nothing to do with how much room I have on my hard drive, right? What is OC supposed to mean here?

OC is a program I use on my computer. I can't explain it well because English isn't my first language. I'm just using the word "OS" like you would say when you talk about Windows. It's all very simple here.

The Operating System (OS) is called overclocking when you change it to a 200 GB drive designed for Windows 11. This means the big space on your hard drive can hold more programs and files than usual, making everything run faster and smoother. It's like upgrading your phone from a small screen to a huge one so you can store way more pictures at once.

You don't need to worry about running out of room for a long time, but check if your drive is nearly full. If the blue bar in "This PC" starts turning red, it means you're close to using up all the space. Most people would say they want to keep around 20% free just in case they need more storage soon.

I'll keep going as long as there isn't an issue, and when I spot one, I'll fix it by moving everything to a larger hard drive.

What powers drive your computer? Can you share a picture of that Drive Management screen? Please send the link to imgur.com and let us know where we can find it.

Windows 11. Do you need 64 gigs or more? Maybe the Pro version uses too much room, so I didn't check that out yet. I put the Pro OS on one M.2 drive. All apps, music, and docs go on a second M.2 drive. How Much Space Does Windows 11 Use? It's okay to think every new Windows version gets bigger because new stuff on top of old things should make Windows 11 use more space, right? Maybe. Let's see what you can do to save room for your Windows 11 installation. How Much Space Does Windows 11 Need? What is in this helpdeskgeek.com
