How many case fans are needed for the build?
I chose to purchase a GX601 Asus ROG Strix Helios case, paired with an Asus ROG Strix X570-F motherboard, an AMD Ryzen 9 5900x CPU, a Deepcool Assisin IV cooler, and my existing Evga GeForce GTX 1070. I wondered how many case fans would be adequate for this configuration. The motherboard supports two chassis fan connectors and one CPU fan connector, the CPU cooler includes one fan, and the case comes with three 140mm front fans and one 140mm rear fan. I understand that the case's front isn't fully open, which might limit airflow, possibly explaining the need for three front fans. Should I purchase two additional 140mm fans for the rear or opt for two sets of three fans with connectors for both front and top?
It differs; there isn't a fixed figure.
A) Keep the settings unchanged.
B) Increase additional components to help the GPU cooler, though this may affect the airflow to the CPU cooler.
[R9 5900X and GTX 1070 both produce better average boost curves with reduced temperatures.]
