I really like using Safari on Mac—it runs smoothly and the design looks better than Chrome. Plus, it feels incredibly fluid. The only thing that didn’t quite work for me was the bookmark area... text only? Please don’t stop there.

I've tried Safari before, but the slow internet made it feel sluggish. My school has Safari installed on their Macs, and I believe it runs much faster for everyday browsing. I also think loading times improve with Safari, though this can vary based on your connection. Since I'm using Windows, I use Chrome, and its Quick Access app features work well for someone who mainly watches YouTube and checks emails.

Safari runs quicker than Chrome. Plus, High Sierra will make Safari even smoother. I recall maybe a year back Chrome trimmed down a lot of unnecessary code, removed unoptimized icons and animations—much faster now. I rely on Chrome more often since it lets me use its developer tools. For coding, Chrome is the preferred choice... among developers no one sticks to Safari.

Additionally, Chrome behaves oddly on my 2017 MacBook Pro... =. I believe Google hasn't had enough time to fine-tune their code for newer Apple devices.

I used Safari for around six months last year. It didn’t work as well compared to Chrome for several reasons. I don’t believe I’d ever return to it again.

Are you among those who strongly dislike apples? Or perhaps I’m confusing you with someone else? This forum has a lot of folks who really don’t like apple-related topics—just seeing the word triggers an immediate reaction!

I haven’t unfairly disliked Apple before. My only action was using free speech to comment on the weak hardware updates. What kind of post is that?

Recent tests from Mozilla indicate Chrome and Safari perform similarly in JavaScript speed. Which tools are still needed? What improvements should be made? No special custom tweaks are required for the latest hardware.
