Do you need to wait for someone to share some DOOM clips? I'm feeling frustrated!

I'm not sure how thrilled I am about another DOOM release. I played the first one a lot when I was younger, but after Half-Life I stopped playing the rest. It seems DOOM can't really go back if they want to sell well—it might end up like the early games and become just another shooter. With ID Tech missing most of its original team, things look uncertain. RAGE is a good example, and Doom 3 BFG Edition isn’t a promising direction either. Wolfenstein: The New Order did improve combat, even if the story was weak, and we’ll see how it turns out.

I understand your point, especially after Carmack left. The teaser trailer really caught my attention again, and the limited info from Quakecon seems promising. It feels more like a nostalgic game with some modern touches. I enjoyed the DOOM vibe, the creatures, and the mood—so excited to see what they've created now. I was concerned it might just copy ID Tech 5 (like Wolfenstein), but it seems they stayed true to their roots and moved to Tech 6. Just curious how it looks now!
