I frequently noticed low idle temperatures around 10°C in the 21°C ambient range on Gamers Nexus clips. How could that happen? Isn’t the minimum temperature here capped at 21°C? Did I overlook some physics concepts?

The charts represent temperature relative to ambient conditions. For example, the Freezer 50's readings of 13.5/62.3 correspond to 24.5°C and 83.3°C.

Both high and low readings have their benefits; the chip’s actual temperature is clearer, but the difference from ambient is more useful across scenarios. I wouldn’t choose differently when designing graphs, though there are solid reasons to accept this approach. Ultimately, what matters most is how each cooler performs together under identical conditions, showing consistent data despite the zero point shift.

I also favor the format "absolute temp, condition: ambient 21°C" over "temp: X° above ambient." It seems the latter could unintentionally suggest they overlooked the surrounding temperature, especially when a significant difference exists. You might want to explore why that happens.
