I'm putting together my initial PC build, aiming for around $2500. It's for gaming, editing, coding, and more. I understand i9 has its issues, so I just needed a reliable processor that works well across the board. Any suggestions or is this okay?

I would examine a secured i7 which is significantly simpler to manage while delivering comparable performance and opting for Windows 11.

We're close to the end of 2024 and you'll install Windows 10.

You can improve your budget slightly higher or a bit lower than the suggested amount like @Why_Me's approach while keeping the original look of your build.

A few tasks remain to be completed MSI
When you decide to invest that much, I recommend choosing an AMD processor (such as 7800x3d) and allocating more funds to a graphics card (preferably a better Nvidia).
I think Windows 10 is not suitable for the initial setup.
