Did someone experiment with the updated Overclocking configurations in the BIOS and what did it accomplish? I own an 8700K equipped with z390-F.

Is this referring to the auto-OC feature? It's pretty much the same as before... at least for the recent versions.
It functions like a lookup table: if you provide a certain CPU count, Y will usually be present—just test, rinse, and repeat.
A good initial reference, though it tends to over-voltage at the same clock speed.
It might be worth exploring what the "auto" mode suggests the chip can handle, then adjust accordingly manually.
