How hot are my 7th gen Intel i7 when it comes to stock temps?
Hey, With stock settings and turbo boost, my CPU hits up to 72 degrees on air cooling while gaming modern games like Battlefield 5. Most of the time it stays around a bit lower at about 69 degrees. Some people say it gets super hot because their 4700k CPU is also running under those same conditions and they see temps hit 60 degrees, but I don't know if they use water cooling or air. Others claim that Haswell CPUs run very hot and that this is totally normal for air cooling. Honestly, I have a big radiator attached to my CPU with a 120 millimeter fan blowing hard on it. So what's going on here? I tried overclocking the clock speed up by one hundred megahertz at four gigahertz, and it runs stable at one point eighteen volts for the core, but temps still go as high as seventy-three or seventy-four degrees during gameplay of BF5. When the CPU is fully used up loading a new map, there are brief spikes to eighty degrees lasting just for a second. I'm not really sure if I should try overclocking more than that because of these scary temperatures. Is all this okay? Thanks so much
What is the real Cooler? It's not that nothing happens at all even if it only has 2 kilograms inside, but if someone gives you a trashy model that just holds nothing. There are small coolers for 30 euros and big ones for 100 euros. So why would anyone buy one with just 1 kilogram of ice when the prices don't seem fair?
