I find it fairly solid overall. The main issue with many free-to-play games, including this one, is the slow progression for a player who doesn’t pay. A positive aspect is the ability to exchange end-game items for platinum and acquire items you usually need to purchase with real money. I recommend giving it a try and see how it works for you.

The goal isn't about winning; it's about gathering resources to craft weapons and characters. If you spend money to purchase them, you're undermining the entire purpose of the game.

It gets mostly fun when you hit the void/derelict and when new quests and/or community events are added. However, some of the missions are frustrating (Not pointing out any names, but archwing.) It's not really pay-to-win, unless you think winning in style is pay-to-win, then yes, buying color schemes would make it pay-to-win. If you need some help you can add me. My in game name is, alphaglock. I generally play an hour or so a day while I wait between building items and ect. And I should note, i'm not to grand at the game compared to most people who are my mastery rank. The modding system is a lot of work to keep up with.

It's a free-to-play game. You can purchase items within the game using currency or earn them through gameplay. It becomes monotonous for me. It isn't a terrible game to enjoy occasionally.

Winning isn't always the goal, but earning money helps make things smoother in the game. It's a slow process, but you get a sense of satisfaction. Having spent thousands of hours in a game, I prefer it over many big commercial titles.

Initially lighthearted, it escalates into relentless work, demanding payment for the 'cool' items.

It avoids taking your funds for all the exciting features. You can invest in platinum to purchase items within the game, exchange goods with other players for what you need, or sell parts for extra credits. Every weapon or item requires a blueprint, which costs in-game currency—easily earned through gameplay. You gather resources to craft these blueprints. A character needs a blueprint bought using in-game credits, again quickly acquired. To obtain the necessary components, you must complete specific challenges or fight certain bosses. The main effort focuses on prime weapons and characters, found in difficult missions where parts are scarce. For items you don’t need, trading with others or selling them for platinum is an option. This system makes the warframes economy less about spending real money and more about strategic gameplay. Starting with 50 platinum at launch lets you buy a warframe and weapon slots. Edit—building a character takes three days, which can feel daunting at first. However, keep progressing by battling bosses and crafting more characters while others finish their quests. This approach also applies to weapons, which take varying times: 12 or 24 hours depending on the type. Once you start, the content expands rapidly. Edit 2...the warframe wiki provides detailed guidance on which bosses yield the best parts for characters and which void missions are essential for acquiring them (these are key pieces of equipment).

Yeah that's one thing which I don't agree on. In my opinion a true P2W game is something like Swordsman Online. Paying tons of money to get gear that F2P players would never be able to get in a reasonable time frame.

It's a fun experience. While some might say you should just keep grinding, it really does require effort. You also need a partner since it's designed for team play. I've spent around 38 hours on it. Overall, it's a solid game.

It's a decent game. But grinding is tough unless you're willing to invest.
