Typically you turn on XMP settings, as most motherboards and CPUs support up to 2666 MHz, but with XMP profiles you can exceed that limit. It’s unlikely you’ll surpass the 3200 MHz rating of your RAM.

The first-gen Ryzen models struggled with memory capacity. Typically they reached around 3000, but many users ended up with 2666. I recommend sticking to the most reliable option—if it's 2666, go with that.
