how does windows from resellers work?
I'm upgrading our family office PC and it's still running Vista. I need Windows 7 but don't want to pay full price. I'm considering buying it off G2A, though Canadian G2A doesn't have Windows 7. Do you have any suggestions for other sites to purchase it? Thanks!
After purchase, follow the installation instructions provided with your product.
See, here is the thing: Why are you directed to those particular ISO files? Why can you not download it from Microsoft directly? I can grab one of those windows 7 files and activate it myself for free, not legitly of course... so why would I give this guy my money if I don't need his fake key?
If the "Windows is not genuine" message persists after adding a new key, ensure you're using the correct edition of Windows 7 and obtain a fresh product key. Launch the Command Prompt with administrator rights—usually by clicking Start, then Run, and selecting CMD. Execute commands to remove the existing key and reinstall it. Afterward, restart your computer. Use the appropriate CMD commands to reinstall the genuine key and verify activation. In the Control Panel, navigate to System and Security, then System, and proceed with activation. This process may require some time, but it should resolve the issue.
These are valid instructions. I’ve executed them before. If you remain uncertain, consider purchasing from the manufacturer or reputable retailers such as Newegg or Amazon.
