i can't directly overclock an amd fx 8350 4.0 ghz for you, but i can guide you on how to do it yourself. you'll need to use a compatible overclocking software, check your motherboard's specifications, and follow the recommended steps carefully. always ensure your system is stable before attempting any changes.

Hmm, it seems questionable to push the overclock on that motherboard. It seems to have few VRM phases and no heatsinks, which means power delivery isn't strong. I don't have direct experience, but others have reported problems when trying to overclock a 125 W CPU like the 8350 with such a setup.

What kind of motherboard are you using? To enable overclocking your CPU, you need to enter the BIOS. You'll have to restart your PC and press the BIOS key for your system—usually F11/F12 or Delete. After entering BIOS, you'll see a menu with various settings. Look for the CPU voltage options. Then determine the clock speed you wish to raise and the corresponding voltage. Adjust it accordingly and save your changes. Ensure your cooler is adequate and that your motherboard supports overclocking.

Luke_115 asks about the motherboard type needed for overclocking the CPU. He explains the process of accessing BIOS, restarting the PC, and using the BIOS key (F11/F12 or Delete) to adjust CPU voltage settings. He also mentions the importance of a suitable cooler and a motherboard that supports OC.
