It's an Xeon W3550. I checked online, but I couldn't find the BIOS settings others mentioned. Is it a custom OC model?

The Xeon W3550 functions similarly to an i7-950. Check if your motherboard allows overclocking. For models like Dell or HP, overclocking may not be possible. With an x58 board, it could work.

I received the computer for free at school, and I've been making minor upgrades lately. Now I'm interested in learning how to overclock this machine before attempting a more powerful upgrade. I understand I need to monitor the voltage and temperatures carefully and won't make a sudden jump from 3.3GHz to 4 GHz. I just need to start somewhere.
